Inspired by the landscapes of Cumbria and the everyday textures around me, I explore how environment shapes emotion and how textiles can evoke memory. Each piece I create is a quiet conversation between hand and fibre — a meditative process rooted in tradition. I'm drawn to the organic irregularities of handmade work, where subtle imperfections give each textile its soul.

Experience
With years of weaving expertise, JaLoJo blends traditional techniques with a modern touch to create timeless handmade textiles that reflect true craftsmanship.

Scarfs
Specialising in handwoven scarves, each piece is a unique expression of colour, texture, and style — made to be worn and cherished.

Hand Crafted
Every item is handcrafted in Cumbria using premium natural materials like wool, cotton, and silk, ensuring exceptional quality and a truly personal finish.
I am a constructed textile artist working at the intersection of tradition and contemporary design, specialising in weave, knit and crochet. My practice is rooted in a deep respect for natural materials—wool, silk, cotton and alpaca—which I transform into handmade textiles and tactile narratives of colour and texture.
